The Marketing and PR manager is responsible for developing and implementing PR and marketing plans to communicate key messages from the brand to promote the product an manage the reputation of the brand. The role includes creating and delivering marketing and social media content, managing public relations using all forms of media and communications and influencing opinions and behaviour, both internally and externally, through communication channels, including websites, social media, press coverage and via our international distributor network.

Based at our Highbury studio with responsibility for all aspects of PR and Marketing.

The key responsibilities are.
• Management of the marketing team including full time, part time freelance and contributors.
• Management of all brand guidelines within the business and with external partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinating marketing and PR with other teams in the business including sales and creatives.
• Managing the press call ups, press loan stock and accreditation
• Composing and targeting Press releases
• Maintaining elements of the website including weekly updates to the banners, themes, carousels, and blogs.
• Managing Blog content, including management of contributors and copy writing and checking
• Managing the Social media channels, coordinating content and writing or checking copy
• Management of the composition of B2C newsletters.
• Managing brand relations with key influencers, musicians, artists, and creatives
• Supporting the management of brand events.
• Liaison with international partners including showrooms and press offices
• Maintaining, interpreting, and acting upon key marketing statistics
• Above all- being an ambassador for the brand to present and promote our products.


• Previous working experience fashion Marketing and PR, with a minimum of 5 years
• Education to degree level in PR, communications, journalism, or similar relevant field
• An all-around understanding of all major social media channels
• A proven history of gaining high quality press coverage
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Excellent copy writing skills
• Experience in managing press loans and consulting with stylists
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Well-presented and charming with exceptional writing skills.
• A black book of relevant stylist and press contacts
• Experience in event organisation and management including securing sponsorship and managing guest lists.
• Experience in presentation and public speaking
• Experience with Word Press an advantage
• Attention to detail

Assisting with specific consumer enquiries and providing consumers with personalised product and brand information. Interacting with the consumer by phone and mail
Responsibility for merchandising the online sales categories, ensuring that content on the ecommerce stores reflects the current marketing campaigns and is consistent with the products available.
Updating content on the ecommerce stores using analytical data, SEO, broad brand marketing campaigns and focused social media activities
Responsibility for the visual merchandising of the products and categories online and for the visual merchandising according to the Underground brand guidelines and in parallel with social media activities.
Processing of all online orders, credit checking and dispatching from our third-party logistics warehouse.
Assisting with product exchanges and refunds.
Tracking consumer orders and providing tracking information to the consumer. Advising customers on the product options available
Engaging customers with information about the brand and our social media
Participating in the creation of promotional campaigns including Facebook, Google and Mailchimp
Above all- being an ambassador for the brand to present and promote our products.


Our online store provides customers with a very high level of customer service. Staff receive ongoing product and customer service training to ensure that we provide a good brand experience to our international client base.
All candidates are expected to have at least one years’ experience in online retail fashion and a genuine desire to provide good service levels to the customer.
