PREVIEW: FLUFFER PIT PARTIES
If you haven’t noticed the insane hype in London surrounding Fluffer Records summer Pit Parties you have most likely been shacked up under a rock.
The indie label boasting releases from the likes of Love Buzzard and Virgin Kids (RIP), seems to have grown as a real tastemaker for new music in the capital. And for throwing killer warehouse parties- as their first round of Pit Parties showcased such talent as Black Lips, The Wytches and Traams which took storm over London.
The first show of Round Two takes place tomorrow, Saturday 22nd July in a secret Hackney warehouse. The all-dayer starts from 2pm and features a top roster of bands: Jaws, Pins and many more. What really separates this show from all the other gigs you’ve been to lies in the name, Pit Party. The bands will perform in the centre of the crowd, in full 360 degree view. Check out the video below to see how that takes the vibe up twenty notches.
Tickets are available now and is it advised to get them ASAP, as they are sure to dissipate fast. For only £20, the amount of quality music and straight-up madness that will ensue tomorrow places this as the bargain all-dayer of the summer.
Can’t make tomorrow? No frets- the Pit Parties will continue through the coming months, and star headliners such as Deap Vally and Japandroids.
