On Tuesday morning the streets of Soho will tremble under more than just the weight of London’s footsteps. Savages are kicking of their 2016 tour with a live morning show at Soho’s legendary 100 Club, 8am sharp. This one-off, intimate performance marks the launch of their second LP “Adore Life” released by Matador records on the 22nd January
The fearsome post-post quartet knocked the breath out of us with the album’s first viscerally charged single “The Answer”. Jehnny Beth’s Siouxsie-esque screams deliver the oh-so-sweet sentiment ‘Love is the answer’ over a bruising background of sound. Definitely our kind of Valentine’s anthem.
For those lucky enough to be attending the sold-out event, it will be a Tuesday morning like no other. Teeth bared and sweating, a little savagery will be let loose on the streets of London.
